Sunseeker Yachts
had its roots as Poole Powerboats. A British company based in Poole, England,
the first vessel to sport the name Sunseeker was manufactured in the mid-1970s,
and the name change occurred in the early 1980’s. With the change in identity
came new hull designs that set the bar for performance higher. Nowadays, each
Sunseeker yacht bears a hull design that comes from the racing world, and skillfully
constructed using composite materials. Sunseeker is the recipient of two International
Superyacht Design awards, and a multiple-time recipient of the Queen’s Award
for Export Achievement. The vast majority of Sunseeker production is exported.
Six lines of yachts and related vessels make up Sunseeker’s fleet. They vary
from a 135-foot long yacht down to a 37-foot long high performance yacht.
